Every person, no matter their age, experiences periods of time when life seems more challenging and stressful. I believe each person is creative, resourceful, and capable of overcoming challenges if they have the right support. Counseling can help people of all ages learn more about their needs, learn how to get those needs met in healthy ways, and acquire a better understanding of self and people important to them. Although I specialize in working with children, adolescents and their parent(s); I also work with adults who may be struggling with relationship concerns or who are experiencing stress or depression. I hope to work with you to find ways to make your life and family achieve the happiness and stability you deserve.

JoLynne Reynolds, Ph.D., LPC, RPT-S, is the Director and owner of CPI. She has over 30 years experience as a licensed professional counselor and has worked in a variety of mental health settings. She has advanced training in child and adolescent counseling, trauma recovery, adoption issues, and Gestalt psychotherapy. As a Registered Play Therapist, she counsels children and adolescents, engaging them in the counseling process by using art materials, age appropriate therapeutic play, and other creative media. Parent consultation is an essential part of her work with children, and parents are often a part of sessions with their child. Her training in Gestalt therapy gives her the skills to work with the whole person, helping them learn new ways of understanding self and meeting needs within healthy relationships. She also offers advanced training and supervision to mental health practitioners who are working toward certification, licensure, or who wish to learn advanced counseling skills.
